The Design Process
To streamline the design and creation process across designers and engineers for such a large project, it was important to lay the foundations with a strong, flexible design system that could evolve during the product’s development cycle. This would inform both the aesthetics and user experience across the product itself as well as the website and marketing material.
As the Co-Founder (Developer - Designer) working on this large scale SaaS platform, it is my personal mission to create a product that not only meets the needs of our customers, but also exceeds their expectations.
I take a hands-on approach to the development and design process, working closely with the rest of the team to plan and implement new features and functionality, and troubleshooting and fixing any issues that arise. I also conduct user research and testing to ensure that the platform is user-friendly and intuitive.
One of my main priorities is ensuring that the platform is scalable and can handle a high volume of users and data without experiencing any performance issues. I work tirelessly with the development team to optimize the code and design for performance, and I am always looking for ways to improve and enhance the user experience.
I am also deeply committed to making sure that the platform is accessible to users with disabilities. This means incorporating features like alt text for images and proper color contrast ratios, and constantly striving to make the platform more inclusive and welcoming to all users.
Overall, as a Co-Founder (Developer - Designer), it is my personal goal to create a platform that is not only functional and visually appealing, but also scalable, accessible, and user-friendly.
Our First Demo
Our first product demo was to a group of teachers at a secondary school. The teachers were looking to create their own application to help encourage their students to learn more about volcanic regions, and they saw the potential for our platform to help them do just that.
During the demo, I walked the teachers through the various features and functionality of our platform, showing them how easy it was to build and customize their own application. They were impressed with the flexibility and versatility of the platform, and saw the potential for expanding their initial idea into a full-scale point and locate quiz app.
We are excited to see what other creative and innovative projects our customers would come up with using WorqHat.
Animation was a core principle in making the experience a more understandable process. Elements animate in ways that indicate the cause and effect of each interaction to improve the fluidity of the overall experience.
